OUR FOUNDER

Sheetal Bajoria, the founder of 1bond2nests, has a passion for guiding students and their families through pivotal transitions. She brings a wealth of experience in international student relocation, cross-cultural collaboration, and personalized client support

Born and raised in Mumbai, India and currently based in Southern California, Sheetal’s career spans roles as a leader, educator, and consulting professional, equipping her with the unique ability and skillset to address the multifaceted needs of transitioning students

Sheetal’s journey has taken her across continents since the early 2000s, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of transitioning between cultures, communities, and countries. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and commerce from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She also earned additional certifications in the United States in business analytics from Northeastern Illinois University, Illinois and in early childhood education from Irvine Valley College, California. Her education and experiences have cemented her belief that every individual deserves tailored support to navigate life's challenges and opportunities during major life events

Throughout her career, Sheetal has worked closely with individuals from all walks of life. Whether assisting families find appropriate care options for their elderly parents, teaching developmental skills to young learners, or helping students and their families feel more comfortable and build confidence in new environments, her approach has always been personal, patient, and empathetic

Sheetal’s passion for assisting others grew through her volunteer work while teaching English to non-native speakers at Yale University and helping elementary school students with various activities. Her experiences go beyond the professional sphere—she has personally helped several student families and friends relocate to the United States, offering guidance at every step of their journey. From navigating education systems to settling into new communities, she has been a pillar and trusted partner in making these life-changing transitions smoother and more rewarding

Sheetal lives in Southern California with her spouse of more than 20 years, teenage son and a four-legged fur ball (her pet Shih-Tzu, Reese)! When she’s not working, Sheetal enjoys spending time with her family, connecting with friends, traveling to new destinations, and exploring a variety of culinary traditions
